106 Ukrainian Service members Exchanged in Bakhmut Swap

According to Ukrainian Presidential Administration Head Yermak, 106 Ukrainian service members were exchanged in Bakhmut. His statement reads below:

“These are soldiers from the Bakhmut direction – 8 officers and 98 soldiers and sergeants.

They fought for Bakhmut and performed a feat that prevented the enemy from advancing further into our East. Each of them is a hero of our state.

Among those who are being returned from captivity, many were considered missing. The relatives of these people went through a difficult phase.

The coordination headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war, our entire team fulfill the President’s task to return everyone home as soon as possible. Volodymyr Zelenskyi outlined this task as one of the key ones.“

The following video was published purporting to show the roadside exchange, complete with white banners on both Ukrainian and Russian infantry fighting vehicles.
