At approximately 1330 EST, Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander in Chief Zaluzhnyi confirmed that his aide, Major Henadiy Chastyavok was killed when a grenade exploded at his home during his birthday party. His thirteen year old son was also seriously wounded. The announcement reads below:
