As this publication reported earlier today, the Brigades of the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa published video showing the body of an Israeli hostage who they claim was killed by an IDF airstrike during a rescue operation. The militants claim once they engaged an IDF infantry force, an airstrike targeted their compound, killing the man.
After reviewing the film (which is still live on X) and comparing the images to the 120 photos of the remaining Israeli hostages, there is a high likelihood that the deceased is Tamir Adar.

Tamir Adar was taken captive while responding to the killing on October 7th, 2023 as part of the Kibbutz Nir Oz emergency squad. He was last seen leaving his home and collecting ammunition, his last messages to his wife told her not to open the door for anyone. His grandmother, Yaffa Adar was also taken captive, but was released in November by Hamas.
This information has not been confirmed by the Israeli government.
