One Person Shot, Naval Air Station Patuxent River

Emergency services have reported that one female victim has been transported by Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 7 to an area trauma center with a gunshot wound to the upperbody. The Naval Air Station declared a shelter in place order nearly 30 minutes ago when the gunshot was heard. The shooting reportedly occurred inside a residence of Lovell Cove Military Housing on the air station.
