Two Trains Collide in Greece, Several Dead and Dozens Wounded

In the late hours of February 28th two trains collided in Tempi, Greece, one of which was a passenger train carrying approximately 350 people. Already at least 29 people are dead and at least 80 injured (these numbers are subject to change as rescue efforts continue) as massive rescue operations take place trying to save those trapped in the wreckage. The other train was a freight train. Four of the train cars from the passenger train derailed after impact, and some of them reportedly immediately caught fire. As of 1:30 local time the fires were extinguished.
