A video statement released by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declares, “Citizens of Israel, we are at war. Not an operation, not an escalation — at war. Hamas will pay an unprecedented price.”

The statement comes after the onset of Operation ‘Iron Swords’ in response to the militant onslaught occurring in southern Israel, with the IDF confirming the capture of seven Israeli settlements along the Gaza Strip by militants. Reports of various police stations and military bases being overrun have begun to surface, as well as shocking footage of fleeing civilians.

Furthermore, according to Palestinian sources, the leadership of Hezbollah in Lebanon is currently in close communication with the Palestinian resistance and is “conducting a continuous assessment of events and the progress of operations with it.” This alliance comes as the political bureau of the Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement in Yemen has pledged its support and willingness to “participate in the battle to defend Palestine and the sanctities of the nation against the usurping Zionist entity.”
