Brazil Takes Control of Argentine Embassy in Venezuela

Brazil has taken control of both the Chilean and Argentine Embassies in Caracas, Venezuela's capital, following the expulsion of diplomatic staff by President Nicolas Maduro's regime on Thursday. Six opposition members have resided in the Argentine embassy since late March following the issuance of arrest warrants against Maduro's political opposition, while Argentina has previously expressed concerns for those residing in the embassy following the announced expulsion by regime forces.
