The war in Sudan is recognizable worldwide as synonymous with the intense human suffering it has caused. The war quickly catapulted Sudan into being the world's largest internal displacement crisis, with currently approximately 10.7 million people displaced in Sudan. In addition, more than two million have fled Sudan entirely since the war began in April of last year.
