Helicopter Crash Kills Highest Ranking General of India

#India’s highest-ranking #military official, Gen. Bipin Rawat, died earlier today after a Mi-17V5 helicopter he was riding in crashed into a wooded hillside near Coonoor. Twelve other people, including Rawat’s wife, were also killed in the crash, which only left one survivor. The cause of the crash is unknown and under investigation, but nothing so far suggests it was shot down. #AtlasNewsUpdateIndia
