China’s Two Sessions Begins in Beijing

China's Two Sessions, the concurrent meeting of both the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the National People's Congress (NPC), will begin today in Beijing. The Two Sessions occur every year when the CPPCC and the NPC meet during a two-week time period to set China's policy objectives for the year.
