Joaquin Camarena

Joaquin holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from a leading Texas university and has undertaken extensive studies in China. As a former Marine Corps intelligence analyst with operational experience in the Indo-Pacific region, Joaquin specializes in PLA modernization, with a focus on the PLA Navy (PLAN), the PLA Marine Corps (PLANMC), and their expeditionary capabilities. His expertise also extends to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and domestic Chinese politics.
