U.S. Company Awarded Contract to Upgrade Taiwanese Early Warning Radar

The United States said that the U.S.-based company RTX (formerly Raytheon Technologies) will upgrade Taiwan's Early Warning Radar (EWR). The Department of Defense announced that the company awarded the contract to RTX on March 22, 2024, through a statement released on the government's contract award website.
