Royal Thailand Police Deploy 20,000 Officers to Monitor Senate Elections

The Royal Thailand Police will deploy approximately 20,000 police officers to locations throughout Thailand for district-level voting for the Senate elections scheduled for June 9^th. Assistant National Chief Lt. General Kornchai Klayklueng said the officers will ensure the transport of the ballots to and from the voting sites and ensure that "the vote as a whole runs smoothly."
