North Korea Announce Putin Will Visit Country and Meet With Kim Jong Un on Two Day Visit

On June 17th, North Korea announced that Russian President Vladmir Putin would visit the country from June 18th to 19th. Putin will also hold a summit with the North Korean leader during the visit.

The announcement came as North Korean authorities moved all aircraft from the tarmac in front of Pyongyang International Airport last week in preparation for the visit.

It is speculated that the two leaders will include cooperation in several areas, such as trade and military assistance.
