Several China Coast Guard (CCG) ships began to closely shadow the Atin Ito! convoy as it headed towards the Scarbough Shoal.
The CCG vessels reportedly began to shadow the convoy when it was 74 nautical miles (137 km) away from the shoal. The convoy will likely reach the shoal on May 16th by 6 a.m. local time.

Chinese Coast Guard started shadowing the civilian convoy at 50 nautical miles from Masinloc, Zambales. That means they are 74 nautical miles away from Bajo de Masinloc.
