The South Korea Joint Chief of Staff released a statement confirming that North Korea launched a sixth wave of trash balloons across the DMZ on June 26th.
The balloons traveled to parts of Gyeonggi Province and the capital city of Seoul, according to the statement.
Authorities at Incheon International Airport shut down operations for domestic and international flights for three hours.
