Various social media sources indicate that dismissed Bolivian Army Commander, General Juan Jose Zuniga, has entered the Presidential Palace amid reports of a coup.
Zuniga’s reported entry into the palace comes after several social media and news outlets reported “irregular mobilizations” of army units in the administrative capital of La Paz.

Zuniga reportedly lost his position due to allegedly threatening the former president, Evo Morales, on June 25th.
Morales said that snipers from a special forces unit took positions surrounding Plaza Murillo before the coup began.
