Bowling Alley Shootout Leaves Rap Superstar Dead

Kirshnik Khari Ball, otherwise known as “Takeoff” was shot and killed early Tuesday morning. Confirmed details of the altercation are scarce, but law enforcement sources and eyewitnesses confirm that the shooting occurred shortly after 2:30 A.M. per TMZ.

Although the background story is yet to be verified, a fight broke out over the result of a dice game that Takeoff and rap icon Quavo (his Uncle) played. According to the police, two unidentified people were shot and transported to the hospital in private cars. Their conditions remain unknown. Quavo was not harmed as a result of the shooting.

Takeoff’s career has spanned the last decade alongside his Uncle known as Quavo, and his cousin known as “Offset” in their widely known rap group known as Migos. Their hit single “Versace” in 2013 spawned later successes like the number-one hit song “Bad and Boujee” featuring Lil Uzi Vert in 2016.

Kirshnik Ball was 28 at the time of his death.
