A yet to be identified black male in a black Mercedes just led Dallas police on a high speed chase. He was originally stopped for a traffic ticket in Kaufman Texas, but did not pull over and started a high speed chase in Kaufman, leading police officers through Dallas.
As we (literally us) were driving on I-30, the chase passed by us going around 100 mph.
He turned back and forth on I-30 in Rockwall 2 separate times and eventually headed westbound back towards downtown Dallas.
After about 1 1/2 hours of a Chase, the suspect eventually got out on foot and led Dallas a police on a foot chase for around 10 minutes before a K-9 dog was released and subdued the suspect.
Police chatter and scanners have mentioned possible guns in the car or an obscene amount of drugs, yet nothing was confirmed yet.
As of 2:37 PM he was arrested and in police custody. As more info comes out we will update.
