Roughly one hour ago, the US embassy was placed on lockdown. Security forces advised all staff members to duck and stay away from the windows. A tweet from the U.S. Embassy in London confirmed that a suspicious package was found outside of the Embassy. The tweet also confirmed that the lockdown was lifted after local authorities inspected and cleared the package. There are currently no details on the contents of the package.
