The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has detained Chilean-American journalist and blogger Gonzalo Lira on charges of discrediting Ukrainian military leadership. The pro-Russian journalist and blogger has lived in Kharkov for several years and his work has sparked the ire of Ukrainian leadership many times in the past. Lira was also briefly detained last year after Russia’s invasion began.
