Iranian Embassy in Paris Attacked By Exiled Revolutionaries

According to reports, Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) supporters have attacked the Iranian Embassy in Paris by throwing rocks and molotov cocktails.

The MEK, also known as the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) or Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO), is an Iranian political and militant group that originated in the 1960s. The group’s ideology was originally rooted in Islamic Marxism but has since sought to distance itself from those roots. It has a history of armed struggle against the Iranian government and has been designated as a terrorist organization by Iran, the United States, and other countries, although it has undergone a transformation in recent years and seeks to present itself as a political opposition group.

They are primarily active in France and Albania, where the organization was exiled.
