The Republic of China (Taiwan) Ministry of Defense reports several Chinese air and naval incursions into the areas surrounding Taiwan. They’ve tasked their military with monitoring and responding appropriately to these movements.
This is especially notable as Taiwan is holding it’s presidential elections today – which is likely the cause of this show of force from mainland China.
