Earlier this week, a British Airways pilot whose identity has not been revealed, was kidnapped while shopping in Johannesburg.
A police spokesperson claimed the pilot was at the BluBird shopping center, near the wealthy suburb of Sandton, when he was approached by a woman asking for help carrying her shopping bags.
Once the pair reached the woman’s car, men carrying firearms kidnapped the pilot and drained his bank account before dropping him back in the area.
Police say the case is still under investigation.
