The People’s Defense Force (PDF) claimed responsibility for downing a Myanmar junta helicopter, reportedly carrying a Brigadier General and other command staff, near the border with Thailand in Thingannyinaung on Monday.
The PDF denied reports that the passengers aboard had died, instead claiming they were injured.
