The Taiwanese Air Force is holding a major air exercise this week at Pingtang Airbase located in southern Taiwan and involves air units from the 6th Mixed Wing.
The aircraft participating in the exercise include the C-130H Hercules transport, E-2 Hawkeye AEW&C, and a P-3C Orion maritime patrol/reconnaissance aircraft. The exercise involved the aircraft conducting takeoff and landing drill relays.
They also displayed one P-3C with ordnance such as AGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship cruise missiles, AGM-65 Maverick air-to-ground missile, and other armaments.
Taiwan currently operates 12 P-3Cs and 6 E-2Ks.
