China has made adjustments to flight routes M503, W122, and W123, which fly over the Taiwan Strait, in an effort to further intimidate Taiwan this Thursday.
These changes violated agreements brokered in 2015 and mandated ICAO consultations. New flight paths position commercial and military flights closer to the island. Safety concerns regarding cross-strait aviation have also been brought up.
Taiwan has condemned the changes made and demanded negotiations.
