Chinese media announced the country successfully launched the world’s first commercial satellite with A.I. on board the Jielong-3/Smart Dragon-3 off the coast of southern China near the city of Yangjiang on Saturday.
The hypersatellite, the Rongpiao or Xingshidai-18, is an integrated sensing network satellite that contains a sixth-generation computing system.
The satellite will be used to test and verify the A.I. algorithm when in orbit and will have the ability to remotely integrate with future communication networks.
