King Charles Diagnosed with Cancer

King Charles of the United Kingdom has been diagnosed with cancer, according to Buckingham Palace.

The 75-year-old monarch was admitted to the hospital in January for “an enlarged prostate” and during the treatment was discovered to have very early cancer cells. It was not specified what kind or the severity. The palace announced that the King has begun “regular treatments” and will postpone public duties during. Despite this, his weekly visits with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will continue, as will his other non-public stately duties.

No further details have yet been shared.
