Junta Convoy Attacked by Resistance Groups in Southern Myanmar

On February 21st, a convoy belonging to the Myanmar Junta was struck by local resistance groups, resulting in several military trucks destroyed and casualties on both sides.

The convoy was made up of seventeen total vehicles carrying almost three-hundred soldiers and was heading on the Dawei-Htikhi road located in the Tanintharyi region in southern Myanmar.

At least six trucks have been reported as destroyed with an unknown amount of casualties on either side.
