President Biden and Former President Trump will both win their respective primaries, the Associated Press projects.
While final vote tallies are not in, Mr. Trump leads former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley by thirty-six percent, while President Biden leads “uncommitted” eighty percent to sixteen percent. “Uncommitted” was used as a protest vote to show Biden how many voters were disconnected with his presidency, especially his handling of the Israel-Gaza Conflict.
Before the vote, political insiders viewed both as winning easily, but were trying to determine how soft their support was in the critical swing state.
