Israeli Missiles Strike South of Syrian Capital

Two batches of Israeli missile strikes hit a suburb south of Damascus, the capital city of Syria, in the Sayyida Zeinab area.

Syrian air defense systems have likely been activated as rockets were noticed firing upwards and ambulances have rushed to the scene of the strike to provide first aid. There is an unknown number of casualties yet.

A similar attack took place on February 21st and resulted in four people killed. This year has seen near-record amounts of Israeli bombings within Syria’s sovereign borders.
