The Supreme Court has ruled that all motions from states to remove former President Trump from the ballot are unconstitutional, and therefore overruled, in a unanimous decision.
Many experts and citizens on both sides of the political divide expressed apprehension towards the precedent set when a state was able to unilaterally remove a presidential candidate from the ballot. Many legal scholars suggested it would set a dangerous rule to be used by an opposing party to remove a candidate from the ballot in future elections.
