Taiwan Detected 36 Chinese Aircraft and 6 ships Near Taiwan

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense said that they detected 36 aircraft from the People’s Liberation Army and six People’s Liberation Army Navy vessels in the vicinity of the island.

The ministry also said that they detected the aircraft from 6:00 p.m. on March 21st to 6:00 a.m. on March 22nd.

Thirteen aircraft out of the 36 detected aircraft entered the island’s northern and southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).

The Taiwanese military monitored the aircraft and vessels as they operated near Taiwan and deployed various forces to respond to the aircraft.

Taiwan also detected one Long March-2D rocket launch from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center located in Inner Mongolia that passed through Taiwan’s ADIZ.
