The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) was able to complete the resupply mission to Second Thomas Shoal by transferring the supplies and personnel from the Unaizah May 4 (UM4) and the BRP Cabra to a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB).
The RHIB then transported the supplies and personnel to the shoal at 11:09 a.m. The boat then arrived at the BRP Sierra Madre, a World War II-era LST, at 11:59 a.m. local time and delivered the supplies.
There is no information regarding whether PCG or Philippine Navy vessels began operations to tow the UM4 back to port.
