Elections in the Solomon Islands will be held on April 17th, 2024, electing new members in to the Solomon Islands Parliament.
Recent debates covering China and Taiwan are unlikely to influence or otherwise be an issue to voters in the island nation. This is likely in response to the Solomon Islands cutting ties with Taiwan in 2019 in favor of relations with China.
China has been ramping up efforts to sway the opinions of other island nations in the Indo-Pacific region.
