Four Chinese Ships Spotted Near Taiwan, no Aircraft Spotted

Four People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) ships were detected by Taiwan from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. local time on April 7th–8th.

Taiwan has deployed coastal missile systems and naval vessels in response to the PLAN presence.

The flight paths were not given this time due to no PLA aircraft being detected on the median line of the Taiwan Strait or Taiwan’s southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) at this time.
