KNLA and Opposition Forces Reportedly Capture Town Along Thai-Myanmar Border

On April 11th, a local news report indicates that that Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and local People’s Defense Forces (PDF) captured the headquarters of the 275th Infantry Battalion at 6:00 a.m. local time.

The positions and headquarters for the battalions were located on the outskirts of Myawaddy, a border town located along the Thai-Myanmar border.

However, the National Unity Government or the KNLA have not released any statements confirming the capture of the town.
