Colombian Military Member Shot Three Fellow Soldiers

A Colombian soldier has reportedly discharged his weapon on at least two other servicemen, causing injuries to both within the municipality of Bello, in the northern Aburra Valley.

The shooting started during a training exercise after the platoon commander ordered a rifle to be taken away from the would-be shooter after he began to get aggressive.

After training concluded, the shooter took the same weapon and began to open fire, hitting an enlisted man and a second lieutenant. The injuries were only minor.

The shooter has been subdued and will be prosecuted.
