New Zealand Prime Minister will Lead Business Delegation on Southeast Asia Trip

On April 9th, New Zealand Prime Minister (PM) Christopher Luxon will visit the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand from April 14th to April 20th.

Several senior business leaders will also accompany the PM during the trip to increase the country’s engagement in Southeast Asia.

Luxon said that the region is important to “New Zealand’s own security and prosperity, and his strong desire to build new connections and renew relationships with partners and customers in these key markets.”

The business leaders who will travel with the PM represent a diverse cross section of the country’s biggest companies that have operations or engagements in the three countries. The delegation also includes leaders of companies that are examining the viability of entering these markets.
