Junta Conduct Airstrikes in Chin State Village, Killing Five

The junta carried out airstrikes in Mindat township, in Chin State, in western Myanmar, on Saturday, April 27th.

The junta bombed a hospital located in Vumthu village, killing five villagers and wounding 30 others, some with critical injuries.

The purpose of the strike was unknown, as there was no combat reported in the area before the airstrike. It’s also unknown why the junta struck a hospital, let alone at night, leading this action to be considered inhumane.
