The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the United States military held the closing ceremony for the 2024 iteration of the Balikatan joint exercise on May 10th. The ceremony was held at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City, with AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo Brawner Jr. presiding over the ceremony.
Brawner also gave a speech during the ceremony, pointing out that the exchange of ideas and best practices benefits the Philippine and American militaries because it makes the alliance more effective and improves their competence.
