Arakan Army Kill Several Hundred Rohingya During Raid in Rakhine State

Various reports on social media indicate that the Arakan Army (AA) raided the town of Buthidaung, located in western Rakhine State, on May 17th.

The raid reportedly killed between 400 to 500 Rohingya and injured several hundred more in Wards No. 1 and No. 2 after the group set fire to various buildings.

However, other reports indicate that the AA are also setting fire to buildings in other parts of the town to drive out the Rohingya.
