Latest China-Mediated Talks Between Junta and Three Brotherhood Alliance Failed

Reports indicate that the fifth round of China-mediated talks between the Junta and the Three Brotherhood Alliance failed to reach any agreement.

China helped mediate the talks to resume cross-border trade and extend the ceasefire agreement to Rakhine State, where the Arakan Army recently captured several bases and towns from Junta forces.

The talks were held in the city of Kunming, China, over three days and aimed to resume trade along the China-Myanmar border in northern Shan State.
