Junta Leader Spotted Praying at Buddhist Temple

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing has been praying at a local Buddhist temple as anti-junta forces continue to capture bases and townships, as well as inflicting damage on the junta forces.

Support for Min Aung Hlaing amongst senior leadership is low as the economy, social services, healthcare, and education have begun to fall apart in many of Myanmar’s regions. Larger cities, such as Mandalay and Yangon, for the most part, have not been impacted.
