Steven Bannon Ordered to Report to Prison for Contempt of Congress

Former presidential advisor, Trump confidante, and media personality Steve Bannon has been ordered to report to prison by July 1.

Bannon was convicted of contempt of Congress because he refused to testify before Congress’ January 6th committee. Bannon was convicted of two misdemeanor counts and is the second White House advisor to be headed to prison, the first being Peter Navarro, who was also sentenced for his contempt of Congress conviction.
