The 9-1-1 emergency service line is reportedly down across most of the state of Massachusetts, according to local government officials. Police urge residents to call the local police’s direct telephone line in case of an emergency or to use an emergency box or the direct telephone line in your city to notify fire or EMS.
This has happened several times over the last year and is usually resolved within 24 hours.
