25 Million in Shanghai Face Another C19 Lockdown

25 Million in Shanghai Face Another C19 Lockdown

Date:

Double the population of Ohio (~12 million), and you still don’t get to the number of people who have been locked down in Shanghai (again). A central hub for commerce in China, business has been brought to a screeching halt. Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials have gone to extreme lengths for exercising lockdown orders.

Measures began in some districts in late February, but by March 28th, every district was ordered to lock down. With the exception of getting tested for the virus, citizens have been ordered to stay indoors. Viewer discretion advised for below video.

Unfortunately, accurate and real time information from the highly censored country is hard to come by. With that being said, there are many disturbing videos on the likes of Twitter that show the once sprawling city turn into a real life “Black Mirror” episode. Everything from state-sanctioned social credit scores (control access to virtually every area of your life), robot dogs patrolling the streets, and drones with propagandized messages from the CCP are elements of dystopian fiction that have become reality for tens of millions.

Due to the risk of being taken away if you speak out against the state, the dissemination of information has been continually thwarted. However, those who have chosen to go public with their thoughts and circumstances have shed light on the nightmare that is being lived for so many.
