Ukrainian Soldiers, Dead Russians and Refrigerated Trains

This past week, Ukrainian military authorities transported Russian soldiers’ remains into refrigerated rail carriages to be transported back to Russia after fighting in the Kyiv and Chernihiv areas.

Ukraine’s civil-military cooperation chief, Volodymr Lyamzin, claimed his country was acting in accordance with international law and was prepared to send the bodies to Russia.

“According to the norms of international humanitarian law, and Ukraine is strictly following them, after the active phase of the conflict is over, sides have to return the bodies of the military of another country.

“Ukraine is ready to return the bodies to the aggressor,” he said.

According to Lyamzin, there are multiple refrigerated trains stationed across Ukraine, where the bodies of Russian soldiers are kept.

Multiple facilities on the outskirts of Kyiv are housing several hundred dead soldiers.

“In this refrigerator train, several hundred bodies of Russian occupiers are kept. Most of them was brought from the Kyiv region, there are some from the Chernihiv region, and from some other regions too,” Lyamzin said.

The Kremlin and Russia’s top Generals still describe its invasion of Ukraine as a “special military operation” to demilitarize a neighbor who poses a security danger. Ukraine denies posing a threat, claiming that Russia is waging an aggressive war and is returning the bodies under international law–recognizing that they are in a full-blown war.

This could point to why multiple reports are coming out that Russia is leaving their dead on the ground or even killing their own soldiers if they are wounded.

Looking for a video of actual bodies in the Train cars. We will update and send a notification if we find some videos surfacing.
