Hezbollah Leadership Confirms Reduction in Operations

Hezbollah Brigades Secretary-General Abu Hussein Al-Hamidawi stated in a press release that his fighters have ceased operations against US and Israeli forces in the region while the cease-fire agreement remains in effect. He also continued to condemn the West and Israel and gave thanks to Iraq, several militant groups, and activists for their assistance.

Below is an excerpt from the public Telegram post:

“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, the Supporter of the believers, the comforter of the oppressed, the humiliator of the arrogant, and may blessings and peace be upon our Prophet and leader, Abu Al-Qasim Muhammad, and upon his good and pure household, and his chosen companions, and upon the mujahedeen and the righteous until the Day of Judgment. It is a matter of pride and pride that the Islamic resistance in Iraq participates in the battle of truth against falsehood, insisting on continuing on this path, not caring about the pressures, obstacles and attacks it has faced, bearing the cost of its resistance work, and steadfast on the path to breaking the thorn of the occupation and expelling it from Iraq. The occupation’s continued infringement on Iraqi sovereignty, and its violation of the airspace, whether with spy drones or fighter planes, or with the scandalous interference of the American ambassador in the governmental scene, requires us to (change some of the rules of engagement) to preserve the country and purify it from the abomination of the occupiers.

As we announce a reduction in the pace of escalation of operations against the American occupation bases in the region, and a halt to them against the Zionist entity until the end of the truce period, or the fighting in Palestine and its borders with Lebanon, we affirm that the confrontations with the forces occupying Iraq will not stop until it is liberated, and it is a decision that we will not deviate from, no matter how hard they are. Sacrifices. A tribute of respect and honor to the Mujahedeen brothers who participated in military jihad operations (Loyal Ansar Allah, Al-Nujaba Movement, Sayyid Al-Shuhada Brigades, Hezbollah Brigades) under the banner of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq to attack the enemy, and others for the Islamic Republic and the Resistance in Lebanon, and the men of God in Yemen with steadfastness and courage. To maintain their jihadi stances and carry out distinguished operations against the enemies.

We also call on our brothers inside Iraq who have experience in the spirit of jihad to join the ranks of the resistance and liberate the country from the power of the occupation. Thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the Iraqi government, political parties, and honorable Iraqi tribes, in registering positions rejecting the American-Zionist aggression, and we extend our praise to the clerics, pulpit preachers, the mujahedeen who staged a sit-in on the border with Jordan, and all the activities supporting the Palestinian people.

Our last supplication is: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and we ask Him to join the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance and the Popular Mobilization Forces with the prophets and the righteous, and to inspire patience in their families, and reward them with the best of this world and the hereafter, and to grant healing to those who received medals of honor, the wounds of the battle against falsehood, and to be an intercessor for them on the day (all of them die). No soul has earned, and they will not be wronged.”
